Microsoft launches family plan testing for Game Pass Microsoft’s Testing Program makes subscriptions available in Colombia and Ireland. The family plan could be closer to Game Pass. Microsoft has begun testing and has offered Insiders from Ireland and Colombia the opportunity to split the bill up to four times. All content is available to users who have been invited by the user.

Despite its novelty, there is no indication that the plan will be available in Brazil and other countries. Participants must be part of the Insider Program and subscribe to the Game Pass Preview at the Microsoft Store to participate in the tests.

After enrollment is complete you can convert your individual account into the family plan and invite your friends via email. Although the exact values have yet to be announced, Microsoft states that 1 Month of Ultimate subscription will convert to 18 Days on the new plan.

The company states that guests must be able to reside in the same country as their subscription. However, they do not need to be part of the testing program. This package gives you access to all benefits of Game Pass Ultimate such as cloud gaming on Samsung TVs.

Pricing and Game Pass plans

Microsoft – Game Pass subscribers have access to over 400 games in the catalogue for Xbox 360, One and Series S/X, according to Microsoft.

There are currently three plans:

  1. Xbox Game Pass:
    It is 38 cents per month and grants you access to Xbox 360, One, and Series S/X games.
  2. Xbox Game Pass:
    It’s only available for Windows and costs 38 cents per Month with EA Play Games.
  3. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate
    It is only 57c and provides access to the Xbox and PC libraries, as well as the Xbox Live Gold, EA Play, and Cloud Gaming benefits.

New subscribers will also be able to take advantage of the service at a special price of 6 cents per month.
